Yoga Upload with Maris Aylward – This is a strong Vinyasa Flow Yoga class appropriate for intermediate and strong beginner students. The yoga practice is 60 minutes – 55 minutes of postures and a 5 minute Savasana at the end.

We work on some fun and challenging balance poses like Eagle Pose (Garudasana), Balancing Half Moon (Ardha Chandrasana) and our peak pose Revolved Balancing Half Moon. If you need more detailed instruction, check out the yoga pose tutorials below:

The practice includes many twists and variations of twists. We also move through other poses and sequences for a well-rounded yoga practice. Options and modifications are offered so you can work at the pace and intensity that feels right for you.

  2. Hi Maris, Another fantastic class! Your voice and instructions are soothing and very clear. I like that you "walk among us" and sometimes choose to rest in down dog. That makes you an excellent teacher because you show you mean it when you say rest when you need to. This class may seem to keep a slower pace, but in fact I experienced a very deep practice in terms of strength, flexibility, and breath. I feel wonderful!

  4. Excellent class again, best yoga teacher on youtube in my opinon. I thought it was excellent the way you asked us to find our own rhythm and flow, noted that in my teaching journal, makes the practice personal, just a couple of points I find really beneficial before I do any of your balancing workouts. I use a tennis ball to open the soles of my feet and then do an easy pose and interlace my fingers and toes, it really helps to spread the feet and toes, maybe I will do it for every practice now that I think of it. Cant stress enough how positive and beneficial I find your classes for learning to be a teacher. You are a born teacher.

To add to it, your voice was absolutely soothing. I managed to did the complete class, although it kicked my ass, but felt phenomenal afterwards.
